In the second half of September, a gradual shift in the prices of slaughter condition pigs continued. The Project objectives, in particular, will be implemented by surveying more than 600 respondents — business entities from different areas of animal husbandry (pig production, poultry — broiler and layer farms, beekeeping, livestock) and representatives of backyard farms, veterinary medicine and feed production. The research will include enterprises throughout Ukraine.

Currently, there is very limited information available in Ukraine on the use of antimicrobials in animal husbandry. In addition, the country does not have an efficient system for monitoring and controlling the use of antibiotics.
