France, Germany and 10 other EU countries are concerned about the introduction of a temporary ban on food imports from Ukraine for five Eastern European countries. This is stated in a joint letter of these countries, which was sent to the European Commission, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) forecasts a 21% decrease in wheat production in Ukraine for the 2023/2024 marketing year (MY).
