This was stated by the Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis during the Conference of European Union Ambassadors, which was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.

According to Valdis Dombrovskis, in the near future the European Union will allocate 2 billion euros for Ukraine. And in early December — another 3 billion euros. This is one part of our country's 9-billion-dollar financial aid.

«We appreciate the EU's decision to provide 9 billion euros of macrofinancial assistance to Ukraine. This allows us to maintain the stability of public finances, because our own revenues today cover only 50% of expenditures,» said Yulia Sviridenko.

The First Vice Prime Minister — Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko thanked the European Union for the provided assistance.
