Laboratory monitoring of mycotoxins, total fungi and toxicity in feed is one of the areas of the project "Keeping Animals Healthy in Ukraine" implemented by the AUPB and the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The disease continues to plague many countries around the world. 14 countries in Europe recorded commercial farm ASF outbreaks in 2023. This is the worst result since 2014, according to the latest annual report of the European Food Safety Authority.
