How the LPV ventilation and microclimate system works
All animals need a different microclimate during their life cycle. The LPV system ensures precise adjustment of temperature, humidity, air speed and other parameters. Fresh air enters the room from overhead, ceiling or roof inlets. The microclimate is created also by adjusting the rate of air flow into the room. Features of the LPV-Plus ventilation and climate system
LPV-Plus makes it possible to use the same ceiling inlet valve during both cold and hot periods. It optimizes investments and reduces operating costs, including maintenance costs. The correct positioning of the ceiling inlets above the squads facilitates an excellent and homogeneous microclimate for all pigs in the barn. Supply flaps support the natural behavior of the pigs and ensure proper use of the squad in terms of resting, activity and stool. The barn design can consist of relatively small sections separated by closed partitions.
