August 1 trading results on the SWOT exchange show that quotations of wheat and corn for August contracts fell after the first vessel with grain left Ukrainian ports since the beginning of the war. APK-Inform reports about it.

Wheat futures on SWOT closed at $294 (-2.7 USD) per ton and corn at $239 (-3.6 USD) per ton.

At the same time, the more rapid decline in prices was limited by the fact that rather dry weather conditions are forecasted again in the US Midwest.

It should be noted that at the end of trading on Euronext exchange quotations of wheat decreased significantly - down to 336 (-7) euro per ton, and corn - to 342 (-10.25) euro per ton.
