According to him, thanks to the joint efforts of the EU and neighboring member states through the Paths of Solidarity a great logistical success has been achieved. From April 2022 to March 2023, Ukraine was able to export more than 32 million tons of grain and oilseeds through them.
«We understand that over the past year, the heavy load of Ukrainian agricultural exports has affected our western neighbors as well. For us it is very important that the farmers of neighboring countries continue to work in comfortable conditions as far as possible, but it should be understood that this situation has a positive impact on their markets. The price of grain has become more competitive, more jobs have been created and the amount of taxes paid has increased,» stressed the Deputy Minister.
«We believe that negotiations with our neighboring countries, our friends, who provide us with incredible support, are the main way for compromise solutions,» Markiyan Dmitrasevich said.
