Poland provides great support in solving export challenges. We are now actively working to ensure new transport routes for Ukrainian agricultural products to Polish seaports in Gdynia, Gdansk and Swinoujscie.
The possibility of ensuring transit of grain at the border inspection posts Verhrata - Rawa Russka, Medyka - Shehyny, Kroscienko - Smolnitsa is being considered. The number of Polish veterinary inspectors at the designated border inspection posts was increased to 19 people. The work of Polish inspectors at the busiest checkpoints was switched to 24/7.
As for the ports, unfortunately, we can export only through the Danube ports. They account for about 30% of our exports. They have limited capacity, because there are not enough barges, berths and terminals. In the past, Ukraine practically did not use this way of exporting its products, because no one invested in these capacities. The damage from the downtime of port infrastructure is estimated at tens of billions of dollars.
