Boroshnohomels for the most part continue to raise purchasing prices, experiencing difficulties with the purchase of wheat, especially Grade 2, which was attributed to holding back sales by agrarians.
«They primarily tried to sell grain with lower quality indicators. Prices also continue to be supported by high competition for grain between processors and traders, as well as some concern about the prospects of the future harvest due to the likelihood of a reduction in the sowing areas under winter crops. However, low rates of flour sales continued to put significant pressure on prices,» APK-Inform analysts noted.
It is specified that on October 6, most processors name purchasing prices on wheat of 2 and 3 classes within the range of 5600−6600 UAH / t and 5500−6500 UAH / t CPT respectively, that is 100−200 UAH / t higher than the end of the previous week.
However, analysts continue, it should be noted that single buyers, including central and southern regions, trying to attract the supply of multi-ton lots of raw materials, fixed higher demand prices at UAH 7000−7200 / t CPT.
