Dmitry Emelchenko, the head of KSG Agro's crop division, stated that all commodity stocks and supplies, including diesel fuel, mineral fertilizers, plant protection means, etc., have already been purchased in full.
"We see no problems with weather conditions. Precipitation in the meter layer is 200 mm, which is in full compliance with the norm. Winter crops are in good to very good condition. At the moment we are finishing the process of winter crops feeding - 6 thousand ha out of 6,5 thousand ha under these crops," he said.
Taking into account the difficult situation on the agricultural market and limited export of crops during the war period, KSG Agro plans to be more careful with the expenditures on fertilizers during the fertilizing process, optimizing this expenditure item. For example, urea will make up a significant portion of the fertilizer, as the nitrogen in it is cheaper than in other types of fertilizer.
Funding for the 2023 spring planting season will take place under an open credit line from Tuscombank and from the company's own funds.
