In September, Ukrzaliznytsia transported a record volume of grain during the war

JSC Ukrzaliznytsia in September set a new record for the transportation of grain cargo after the beginning of a large-scale war. This was stated by the deputy director of the commercial work department of the company Valery Tkachev.

As specified by V. Tkachev, according to operational data last month 3.407 million tons of grain cargoes were transported. This is 1.329 million tons (or 63.2%) more than in August.

«To date, grain and milling products occupy the lion's share of export shipments. These cargoes accounted for 3.066 million tons of the total 5.202 million tons shipped overseas during the month in September. Increase of grain cargo and milling products export by rail in September is 1.465 million tons, or +91.5%,»  he said.
