In Dnipropetrovsk region recorded an outbreak of ASF

An outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) was recorded in the village of Orlovschina, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region. This is stated in the message of the Peschanka rural united territorial community with reference to the data of the Novomoskovsk district department of the Main Department of State Supervisory Service in Dnepropetrovsk region.

According to the decision of the State Emergency Anti-Epizootic Commission of Novomoskovsk District State Administration, quarantine restrictions have been imposed on the entire territory of Orlovschina village since February 28 and protection and surveillance zones have been established.

A full range of liquidation and localization activities are carried out at the site of ASF detection. The pig stock of the farm was withdrawn, put to death, burnt together with the corpses of pigs taken from the forest, where they were taken by their owners, and buried in a certain place. Disinfection measures have been carried out.
