One focus of Association of Ukrainian Pig Breeders (AUPB) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) project is to survey domestic stakeholders (industrial farms, households, hunting gfarms, private veterinarians and laboratories) to assess disease risks, including ASF, and antimicrobial warfare practices. Over three months of collaboration 550 respondents were interviewed.

The survey covered animal disease prevention and control, biosecurity measures, access to critical production resources (including veterinary products), and marketing channels for animals and pig products.

An in-depth analysis of the data and related recommendations for controlling swine diseases will be available in the study report.
