«Price monitoring and market analysis, closer communication with colleagues and interesting projects are what the AUPB should be joined for,» says Danilo Timchenko, co-owner of Elit-Shweine Ltd. The farm is located in the Zaporozhye region and began its history in 2009 as a commercial closed-cycle farm. In addition to pork, they are engaged in crop production for complete feed self-sufficiency. They sell not only market pigs, but also 20−25 kg piglets. Despite the situation and their location in a region close to the fighting, they plan to develop after the end of the war.
Another member of the Association is Expert-AgroTrade LLC. It is a closed cycle commodity farm built on the basis of a former collective farm in Dnipropetrovsk region. The enterprise started operating in 2022. It plans to reach full capacity by 2024. «It is useful to be a member of the Association of Ukranian Pig Breeders ! It provides support, answers to industry questions, and up-to-date information about the market situation and the latest developments in the pork industry and processing industries», — commented at the enterprise.
