New member of Association of Pig Breeders of Ukraine is «Novyi riven 2006» FE. It is situated in the picturesque corner of Zakarpattia oblast (Tiachivka village). Though the region is mostly tourist, the household managed to get successful pig farming business.
At the present moment «Novyi riven 2006» has two complexes (in Tiachiv and Vynogradiv districts) for sows (722 heads), growers and finishers.
Farm plans to arrange its own meat processing.
«In our realities nobody helps you, except of your own. The same situation is in pig farming business. We like the activity of Association, focused on legislative changes for easing work in branch as well as educational activity. So we decide to join the organization. As it is said „Team play wins the day“.» — commented in «Novyi riven 2006».
Association of Pig Producers of Ukraine is unprofitable, voluntary organization. The creation date is July 14, 2011. Now APPU joins 35 households, the sow herds of which compose 35% of nationwide capacities. The main objective of Association is to protect corporate rights and interests in the field of pigbreeding, to attain the worldwide standards of manufacturing owing to implementation of modern technologies.
