Ukraine exported almost 5 times more agricultural products in May than in March - 1.7 million tons. Was the current export potential used to its full capacity; how will the suspension of all import duties on Ukrainian goods imported into the European Union for a year affect exports; and what is the situation with the financial support of farmers - the first deputy minister of agricultural policy and food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky told about it on the air of the national marathon UA together.

So, according to official statistics, in March about 350 thousand tons were exported, in April - three times more, about 1 million tons, and in May we have an indicator over 1 million 700 thousand tons, he said.

"It is not yet the same volumes that were going through seaports, but it is a significant constant growth. Most of it is exported directly through Poland, then Romania, the rest - through the other countries of the European Union," said Taras Vysotsky.

According to him, Ukraine has a huge support in this matter by Poland, because it is with her that we have the largest number of crossings - both by rail and road. That is why Poland constantly increases the number of competent customs officers, and the mode of work is switched to a 24x7 format which allows to make significant progress.
