The result was 28% higher than that shipped in the same period last year, with 107.1 thousand tons. It is the second largest monthly volume ever recorded in the history of the sector.

The increase was even more significant in revenue. In total, US$ 341.6 million was recorded in June of this year, a balance 45.2% higher than that achieved in the same period last year, with US$ 235.3 million. The balance obtained in June 2025 is the highest ever recorded in the history of the sector.

In the first half of the year, accumulated exports reached 722 thousand tons, a volume 17.6% higher than that shipped between January and June 2024, with 613.7 thousand tons. In terms of revenue, the increase in exports reached US$ 1.723 billion, a balance 32.6% higher than the total obtained in the same period last year, with US$ 1.300 billion.

The Philippines, the main destination for pork exports in June, imported 33.8 thousand tons, a volume 141.1% higher than in the same period last year. Next are China, with 15.4 thousand tons (-6.2%), Japan, with 12.8 thousand tons (+27.7%), Chile, with 11.3 thousand tons (+55.3%), and Singapore, with 9.1 thousand tons (+0.1%).

"There is an increase in demand for Brazilian pork in several markets, including markets with high added value. The behavior of the global market projects results that are even more positive than the expectations outlined by the production sector in January, indicating new records in volume and revenue", analyzes the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.
