During the bilateral meeting, Ukrainian and Macedonian representatives talk about closer cooperation in the area of agriculture. Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food on European integration Vladyslava Rutytska, Ambassador of Republic of Macedonia to Ukraine Stole Zmejkoski and the Chief of the General Directorate of Bilateral Relations with America, Africa, Middle-East, Asia, Eurasia, Oceania Nenad Kolev took part in this meeting.
«At the present moment the activization of collaboration in agricultural sphere between Ukraine and Macedonia is a very important question. Taking into account the fact from the beginning of 2016 we have exported only two names of goods: oilseeds and cakes. In 2015 the value of export to Macedonia was about $700 thsd. These sales turnover rates disaccords the capacities of two countries,» — comments on Mrs. Rutytska.
In addition she noted that at the present moment Ukraine actively diversifies sales markets. That’s why Ukraine on its part is ready to the collaboration with Macedonia.
«Meat, nuts, products from grain, these are those positions that Ukrainian producers had exported last year. I suggest starting detailed work on enlargement of export stock-list and increasing volumes. I’m sure we have all perspectives toward effective trade,» — she added.
