Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified the free trade agreement between Canada and Ukraine. Alexander Bakumenko posted this information on his Facebook page.
«From the moment of actualization this Agreement will open 98% of the Canadian market for Ukrainian exporters. Import fee for agricultural and industrial goods (excluding cars with 7 years of transition abolition of import duties) will be cancel (except 108 tariff lines on which open access within quotas). For this 108 tariff lines of agricultural products native exporters can deliver their products without paying fee according to the Canadian demands.» — he says.
This is the first (after the EU) agreement with the North American country with immense market. It gives Ukrainian business a good long and short-term outlook as well as possibility to diversify Ukrainian trade.
