At the end of every year the Association of Pig Breeders of Ukraine traditionally makes public «Top list of the biggest pig producers». 2015 is no exception. Names of the Five remain unchanged but the pig breeding TOP-5 has outlasted structural modifications:

By no means, the first place has been inviolately taken hold by APK-Invest, LLC. 7,4% of commercial pig livestock is concentrated there. This business has almost 11% of slaughter pigs, realized by agricultural holdings.

The second item has a new «owner» — Agroprodservice, PAE. It’s a kind of a bonus for enlarged sow herd — +2.6 thous. heads, compared the year earlier.

Danosha, LLC has finished 2015 with 12% gain in sow herd (versus 2014). That’s why this very farm closed the TOP-3 of leaders.

The fourth line has fallen to Globynskii svynokompleks, RPE.

The flagman TOP-5 is closed by AK «Slobozhanskii», PJSC, as well as in 2014. Its capacities remain at the level of the previous year.
