The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and FAO started the implementation of the provision of sleeves to farmers for grain storage

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine jointly with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has launched the second phase of the program to provide sleeves to farmers for grain storage.

The sleeve distribution was launched in Velyka Dymerka village, Kyiv region, with the participation of the UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine Denise Brown, the Head of FAO Office in Ukraine Pierre Vauthier, Canadian Embassy representative Sergey Kurditsky, and the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Denis Bashlyk.

Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization Denis Bashlyk said that FAO and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy will soon announce the receipt of applications through the State Agrarian Register for 105 sets of auxiliary equipment.

"Under the program, in addition to hoses, farmers will receive a set of equipment for loading grain. One set of equipment includes loader, unloader and 2 trailers of bunker-loader. One set of equipment will be provided for loading at least 292 hoses", he said.
