The government supported the launch of three programs aimed at stimulating entrepreneurial activity

The first program introduces micro grants of up to 250 thousand UAH for each Ukrainian who wants to start his or her first business or develop an existing one.

  • Micro grants are available for creating and developing your own business - up to 250 thousand UAH for the creation of two jobs and up to 150 thousand UAH for one job;
  • JSC "Oschadbank" acts as an authorized bank of the program;
  • Ukrainians will be able to apply for grants through the Action Portal or in any branch of JSC "Oschadbank";
  • Recipients of micro grants will be able to apply for an additional investment loan under the Program "5-7-9%" for the amount up to UAH 2,5 mln. according to the standard terms of the program.

The second program of grants is aimed at the creation or development of horticulture, berry-growing and viticulture:

  • The state co-finances the planting of an orchard together with an entrepreneur (in total we plan to support the creation of 10 thousand hectares of orchards);
  • The state provides a grant of 70% of the project cost (excluding VAT), 30% - at the expense of the recipient.

The third program grants for creating or developing greenhouse facilities:

  • Each investor can build a light greenhouse unit of about 2 hectares for vegetable farming;
  • One applicant can build one greenhouse module;
  • For the first 1000 applicants the state provides a grant in the amount of 70% of the project cost (without VAT), but not more than 7 million UAH, 30% - at the expense of the recipient;
  • All subsequent applicants receive a grant of 50% of the project cost (excluding VAT), but not more than 5 million UAH, 50% - at the expense of the recipient;
  • The program will ensure the creation of one recipient up to 40 new jobs.

"In conditions of war, the transition to an economic model where micro, small and medium enterprises make a great contribution to GDP is very important. Therefore the new national idea for Ukrainians must become entrepreneurship. Functioning of economy according to such principle will stimulate creation of strong middle class and will give a push to appearance of new workplaces in wartime",  the First vice-prime minister - minister of economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko emphasized.
