The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine jointly with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) implements a programme for providing farmers with temporary grain storage facilities (grain sleeves). Thanks to the support of the governments of Canada, Japan, and the Minderoo Foundation, Ukrainian farmers will receive about 31,000 grain sleeves, each with a capacity of 200 tons, which will provide storage for 30 percent of the country's total requirements.

In continuation of this program, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and FAO are starting to register 105 sets of special equipment for loading/unloading of grain sleeves. One set consists of 1 loader, 1 unloader and 1 reloading bunker, and will be provided for the loading of at least 292 grain sleeves.

Registration will be held in two stages: for the recipients of equipment and for agricultural producers — till December 7 and till December 11 respectively.
