Bidding for the 32nd week ended with a further increase in the price of procurement: most commodity lots this week were sold in the range of 62-65 UAH / kg. Thus, the prices in the East and West of the country were UAH 65 / kg, while in the central regions of the country were mainly 62-64 UAH / kg.
The cuttings suppliers noted the high activity of procurers last Friday, and stated that the demand markedly exceeded the available commodity volumes. Representatives of meat processors stated the same, adding that the final sale of pork is rather brisk. Although some of them are not sure how the market will react to the new price level, they at least expect consolidation of prices in all regions at the level of this week's maximum and do not see prerequisites for a change in the direction of prices yet.
