AndroScope is a compact system based on AndroVision, a highly effective CASA system for standardized interactive semen analysis. AndroScope allows you to analyze samples without reference to location, monitoring sperm motility and concentration at any production, transport and insemination. The device works effectively with both fresh and chilled or thawed semen.
The new device is equipped with a professional high-speed camera with adjustable focus for precise analysis. The mobile heating unit reaches optimal
temperature within seconds allowing the analysis in optimal temperature conditions. The default system contains standard parameters for boars, bulls and other animals; additional parameters can be added on request.
The AndroScope works with any PC, laptop or tablet that has an MS Windows 10 or later operating system and a USB 3.0 connector. The operator can follow the analysis on the screen and generate a report in PDF format with a clear display of the most important parameters.
The AndroScope does not require an internet connection or electricity: the device is powered by the connected device. The analysis unit is designed to be used with disposable Minitube counting chambers. Other counting chambers of the same size (e.g. Leja chambers) or a standard microscope slide with coverslip (if only sperm motility analysis is performed) can also be used. Thanks to the intuitive interface, it takes a minimum of time to learn how to use the system.
The AndroScope comes in a practical, durable case that provides protection during transport and contains everything you need for semen analysis: Minitube counting chambers, reaction tubes and capillary straws. The reaction tubes are used to preheat the sample. Capillary straws can be used to fill the counting chamber or place a drop of sample on the microscope slide.
