Ministry of Agrarian Policy plans to delegate maximum authorities to field-oriented associations. The Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Andrew Dykun told about it during «AgriInvestForum» which took place on September 7 in Kiev.

"Today, the Ministry elaborates the law on the so-called «self-regulatory organizations «and plans to delegate some functions to field-oriented associations,» — said Mr. Dykun.

In his opinion, this law touches not only the agrarian field, but all sectors of the economy. Now the Ministry has already delegated some functions of breeding work to associations, which lay at the Department of Livestock.

«If this work is not for associations, for whom it is? I am convinced that it is their challenge. So, a need in the bureaucratic procedures breaks away. The final goal of the Ministry — delegate maximum authorities, but in allowed frames. First of all, we should think about the state,» — concluded the Deputy Minister.

International Agro-investment Forum «Agri Invest Forum» — a unique platform for dialogue on new development strategies of agrarian business and the ways and mechanisms to attract investment. The event took place on October 7, in Kiev. The forum was organized by Ukrainian Agrarian Rada with the support of USAID «Agroinvest» and Ukrainian Agroinvestment Rada. Event was attended by 250 participants: owners, managers and financial directors of large and medium-sized farms.
