Belarus has limited pork from Kirovograd oblast of Ukraine because of African swine fever. The outbreak happened in backyard farm, 15 pigs died. Interfax.by reported that.

The range of production is prohibited to import to Belarus from Kirovograd oblast of Ukraine. Temporary restrictions are introduced from March, 18. Department of Veterinary and Food Surveillance of Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported that. Restrictions spill over to:

  • Live pigs and pork;
  • Wild boars meat;
  • Processed products;
  • Hair;
  • Hunting trophies got from susceptible animal species;
  • Feed;
  • Second-hand equipment for housing, slaughter and cutting pigs.

Earlier the similar restriction was brought towards Mykolaiv, Odesa, Rivne, Sumy, Poltava, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr oblasts of Ukraine.
