Kamchatka, Ltd is situated in the village Telizhyntsi, Isyaslav district, Khmelnytskyi region. It is among top-30 pig farms of Ukraine and is the founder of the Association of Pig Producers of Ukraine.
The enterprise belongs to the group of enterprises the co-founder of which is Oleksandr Myrnyy. All the enterprises of the structure (Kamchatka, ltd, Agropartner, RAE, «Agros-Vista, Ltd, Nyva podillya, ltd») are independent entities.
The main specialization of the enterprises is crop production with the additional ones as sow farm, fattening farm, milk production, fishery and apiculture.
The development of pig production started on Kamchatka in 2006, ltd with the building of the first stage of sow farm designed for 15.5 thousand commercial piglets per year. Investments in modern equipment, organization of production processes and staff education enable increasing the capacities up to 3 thousand sows per year. The building of the second stage of the farm is continuing now.
Kamchatka, ltd closely cooperates with Agropartner, RAE which is another enterprise of the group. The piglets which are produced by Kamchatka, ltd are sold to Agropartner, RAE.
Fattening farm Agropartner, RAE with the capacity of 400 pigs of simultaneous housing was reconstructed in 2010. The capacity of the enterprise was increased and 3 thousand pigs can be housed simultaneously (annual production of 10-12thousand commercial pigs). The reconstruction of another farm has been continuing it is designed for 2400 pigs of simultaneous housing.
The plans of Agropartner, RAE are to increase the capacity up to 10 thousand pigs of simultaneous housing (annual production of 30-40thousand pigs).
Besides it is also planned to build a sow farm in order to provide the needs of the enterprise in piglets. The piglets are bought in Kamchatka, ltd at market price.
Dry feeds, produced by the enterprise are used for feeding pigs. The enterprises work with Hermitage genetic. For the replacement of sow herd sows of Large White and Landrace are used. For commercial heard they are mated with Pietrain and Hampshire.
