The review recommended that a total of about 90% of the regulatory instruments in the areas of competence of the ministry and its coordinating structures be either cancelled or changed.
Almost 45% of permissive documents or procedures should be cancelled, including:
— approval of the land lease agreement in the complex with the water object located on it; approval of the technological project of the return of associated waters of oil and gas fields to the underground horizons;
— approval of the boundaries of sanitary protection zones of water bodies; permission to carry out agricultural, forestry and other production activities within the sanitary protection zones, aimed at obtaining marketable products;
— permission to build social and public facilities, to conduct scientific research within the sanitary protection zones;
— permission to work on water fund lands (except operational dredging) within coastal protective zones along seas, sea bays and estuaries, in internal sea waters, estuaries and territorial sea;
— introduction of information about business entities in the State Register of Business Entities Engaged in Receiving and/or Dismantling of Disposal Vehicles.
