Ukraine threshed the first million tons of grain

In almost all regions agrarians started harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops, conducted on the area of 417.3 thousand hectares (3%) with yield 26.3 c/ha, threshed 1.1 million tons of grain of new crop including :

  • winter barley threshed 254,3 thousand ha with yield of 28,2 centners/ha, threshed 717,8 thousand tons
  • 147,9 thsd. ha of winter wheat was threshed, yield of 24,1 centners/ha — 355,8 thsd. tons;
  • winter peas — 15,3 thsd. ha, yield of 22,2 centners/ha — 355,8 thsd. tons;
  • 15.1 thousand hectares were threshed for peas; 24.6 thousand tons were threshed at yield of 16.2 cwt/ha;

In addition, farmers in 8 regions have begun collecting winter rape, which has been threshed on an area of 43.5 thousand hectares (4%), 67.3 tons of threshed seeds with a yield of 15.5 centners / ha.
