This time, participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on key aspects of transport biosecurity and disinfection. In particular:
- Vitalii Bashynskyi, international expert on biosafety in animal husbandry and food safety, will discuss transportation in the context of biosafety, sharing examples of mistakes and effective solutions to help minimise the risk of infection during transportation.
- Oleksandr Revnivtsev, an expert on the health of productive animals and transboundary diseases, will speak on the transmission of resistant bacterial strains, the regulatory framework for antimicrobials in Ukraine and the limitations of their use in livestock.
- Vitaliy Sokolov, an expert in the field of productive animal health, will offer practical advice on disinfection. He will talk about effective methods and products that help maintain a high level of hygiene on the farm.
The session will be useful for pig farm owners, veterinarians and anyone interested in developing safe and sustainable pig production.
