The export takes place in the framework of the "grain agreement" between Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the UN. The coordinating center in Istanbul is responsible for monitoring the operation of the sea corridor and the safety of the operation.

The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov has announced on Facebook that today for the first time since 24 February the departure of the vessel, which is loaded with Ukrainian food, is expected from Odessa port. This refers to the ship RAZONI, which is sailing under the command of Sierra Leone to the port of Tripoli in Lebanon. It will sail along a corridor whose safety has been confirmed by our guarantor partners, the United Nations and Turkey. There are 26,000 tons of Ukrainian corn on board.

"Ukraine is the 4th largest exporter of corn in the world, so the possibility of its export through the ports is a huge success for ensuring global food security. Today Ukraine together with its partners is making the first step towards preventing world hunger. Unblocking of the ports will give at least 1 billion dollars of currency virus for the economy and the opportunity for the agricultural sector to plan the planting next year", he said.
