Six months of work of the National Platform of Food Security: key figures and facts

For six months now, the National Platform for Food Security, which was created to share information about existing offers and needs for food and other essential commodities, has been in operation.

To date, the number of participants in the platform exceeds 5,500. Among them are manufacturing and trading companies, agribusinesses, local communities and military administrations. Producers are the largest category of participants, accounting for 32% of all users.

More than 1.6 thousand offers from participants have now been published on the platform. The most popular offers that were published on the platform during six months were food products - bread, sugar, meat and dairy products. Non-food items such as household chemicals, mineral wool or power tools were also published.

The actual needs to date are more than 1.7 thousand. Among the needs most frequently asked by users during this time are cereals, canned foods, flour and meat.
