Unlike other cooling systems you do not need a separate water tank. The tank is combined with the bottom trough and is thus part of the trough system.
The water is fed directly without the special distribution mats used in many other systems.
The drain function is a feature of the system. The purpose of the drain process is to keep the salt concentration below a certain level by continually removing the cooling system water with excessive mineral content and replacing it with fresh water with a lower mineral content.
