In May 2025, Brazil exported 118,700 tons of pork, marking a 13.7% increase compared to the same period last year (104,400 tons), according to the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA).

Export revenue in May reached USD 291.1 million, which is 29.3% higher than in May 2024 (USD 225.2 million).

From January to May 2025, Brazil shipped a total of 584,800 tons of pork, up 15.4% from the same period in 2024 (506,600 tons). Total revenue for the first five months amounted to USD 1.381 billion, a 29.8% increase from last year’s USD 1.064 billion.

The Philippines emerged as the largest importer of Brazilian pork in May, buying 28,200 tons — a 115% increase compared to the same month in 2024. Other key markets included:

  • China: 11,900 tons (-43%),
  • Chile: 10,900 tons (+21%),

  • Paraná: 19,200 tons (+28.9%),
