The new cases were reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of Catalonia.
Three positive samples were detected in Sant Cugat del Vallès, with one case each confirmed in Molins de Rei and Barcelona.
As all of the new cases were found within the already designated high-risk area, its boundaries remain unchanged for now. The zone continues to include 19 municipalities.
Over the past week, laboratories analysed 199 samples. Five tested positive, while 194 were negative.
This represents a positivity rate of 2.5%.
Following confirmation of the new cases, the total number of infected animals detected since the outbreak was declared has reached 384.
The emergence of new positive cases after a two-week break indicates that the virus continues to circulate within the high-risk zone, although no new areas outside the current boundaries have been affected so far.
