The ASF virus was detected in six animals in the livestock farm of the Kozelets geriatric boarding house in the village of Chasnivtsi, Chernihiv district. As a result, 105 pigs were utilized.
In addition, a domestic pig in one of the households in Losynivka village, Nizhyn district, was also infected with ASF.
Epizootic investigations into these cases are ongoing.
As previously reported, a case of ASF was recorded in Kirovograd region. Two pigs kept at the enterprise were euthanized by bloodless method, and the corpses were disposed of. The place of disposal was disinfected, and the premises where the animals were kept were disinfected.
