The government replaced the head of the State Consumer Service

The Cabinet has appointed deputy head of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection Olga Shevchenko as acting head of the service. Such personnel decisions were made at a meeting on February 1, the government press service reports.

So, the government recognized invalid an order on the appointment of Acting Head of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection Andrei Lordkipanidze and dismissed him from the post of deputy head of the department.

At the same time, Olga Shevchenko was appointed as the acting head of the State Service for Consumer Rights Protection.

As noted on the website of the State Consumer Service, Andrey Lordkipanidze was Acting Head of the Department from July 12, 2022. Prior to that he had been from December 2020 to December 2021 and from March to July 2022 as deputy head of the department.

Olga Shevchenko became deputy head of the State Consumer Service in February 2019.
