Skiold, a Danish company producing agricultural machines and machine tools in Northern Europe, plans to implement a project worth 3.5 billion rubles in the Samara region of Russia.

Investors plan to build facilities for the maintenance of 100,000 pigs. In the first phase Skiold needs 15 hectares of land, and then the same amount of acreage. The Company intends to use for the project for 3.5 billion rubles equity.

The company is currently engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of equipment for livestock, design and sale of feed mills.

As part of the project, land is currently being sought in the Syzran area, reportsvninform.

District head Vyacheslav Podobulin said it was too early to talk about specific dates of the project.

A project supervisor from the company, Vitaly Gorkovenko, said that while they are looking for land in the Syzran area, if they are not satisfied with it then they will look elsewhere.
