During the past week, the Polish veterinary authorities reported the occurrence of new outbreaks of African swine fever (the 3rd, 4th, and 5th outbreaks of 2021) on three domestic pig farms with 48, 149, and 23 pigs respectively in Lututów, Tuszyn, and Łubnice, all in the Lodzkie voivodeship. In this case, the 4th and 5th outbreaks of 2021 are secondary to the 3rd outbreak of 2021.

In addition to these, two new outbreaks have also been detected, the 6th outbreak of this year located in Marianka Mroczeńska with 132 pigs, in Wielkopolskie Voivodeship and the 7th outbreak in Hrebenne, Lublin Voivodeship, near the Ukrainian border.
