According to Mykola Solskyy, the problems of agroindustrial complex are extremely acute and need to be urgently addressed. The Minister also spoke about a number of key factors that helped to support the agricultural market this year. The first is the work of the grain corridor, which allowed the restoration of export capacity of the agricultural sector. The second — the simplification of farmers' access to credit resources. The main collateral was grain and the state provided a guarantee to the bank for the borrower. Third — simplification of grain export procedures at all borders. Fourth — implementation of the program of assistance to small agricultural producers, which was financed from the budget support of the European Union.
Support was distributed only online, through the State Agrarian Register. Under the terms of the program, farmers who cultivate from 1 to 120 hectares of agricultural land or keep 3 to 100 cows could receive non-repayable assistance. Nikolai Solsky also noted the assistance of international partners in grain storage. This program to provide farmers with sleeves for grain storage was implemented jointly with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) with the support of the governments of Japan and Canada. Under the program, in addition to sleeves agrarians can get a set of equipment for loading grain.
