The objective of this aid program is to cover part of the increase in animal feed costs on farms.

The European Commission has approved a French aid program worth EUR 400 million to support farms and fish farms in the context of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The aid under this program will be delivered in the form of direct subsidies and is intended to cover part of the increase in feed costs for farms and fish farms.

The Commission considered that the French scheme complied with the conditions set out in the temporary crisis framework. In particular, the aid will not exceed €35,000 per beneficiary and will be granted until December 31, 2022 at the latest.
