"Unfortunately, we had to stop the VAT refund system for four months... But the war dictates its conditions, and therefore, indeed, the state is guilty of business VAT, which today already begins to reimburse. Registration of tax invoices is in a normal mode, I have not heard from the business about any problems with refusal of registration or blocking of tax invoices," said Getmantsev.
The deputy stressed that the state will not allow VAT fraud.
"We will not allow in wartime looting with the basic tax. But, on the other hand, all honest businesses, all honest businessmen will receive and refund without any restrictions and will use the system in accordance with the law," said Getmantsev.
According to his data, entrepreneurs in the near future will receive 9.5 billion UAH of value added tax refunds for January. "Already 9.5 billion has been transferred to the Treasury. And this money will be received by businesses in the near future. Exporters as well as other businesses have asked us to resume VAT refunds," he said during an all-Ukrainian telethon.
