«Support of Ukrainian producer and resumption of export is extremely important for our economy. Previously taken measures allowed to stabilize the economy and reach the level of exports in excess of the pre-war EU. In particular, the World Bank has revised this year's GDP fall forecasts for Ukraine, improving them from the June forecast by 10%. At the end of three quarters of 2022, exports to the EU grew by 6.3% (or $ 1.2 billion) compared to the same period last year.
At the request of business, the Government has taken another step, which will support domestic producers and allow them to participate in trade fairs abroad and present their products there. Accordingly, entrepreneurs will have more opportunities to interest foreign buyers, which will have a positive impact on exports, «- said First Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.
The list, which was drawn up following a dialogue with industry associations and enterprises and approved by the Government, includes about 70 specific exhibitions to be held abroad in autumn-2022-spring-2023. For example: Ukrainian Infrastrukture Forum, Strategy Council in London, Fruit Logistika in Berlin, Agrotech 2023 in Polish Kielce, etc.
To finance participation in these measures the National Bank was recommended to provide transfers. Also, the opportunity for Ukrainian producers to participate in international exhibitions furniture industry, international medical and pharmaceutical exhibitions.
