This was reported by Dr. Bohdan Dukhnitsky, a senior researcher of the department of agricultural production economics and international integration of the National Scientific Center "Institute of Agrarian Economics".
According to him, the blockade of sea ports and vigorous military actions in many regions not only prevent the realization of the available potential of foreign sales, but also make it impossible or prevent many industrial enterprises to work at full scale.
"The consequence of these negative processes was more than a threefold reduction in our agricultural exports in March-April 2022 compared to its corresponding figures for January-February of this year. Therefore, the final result of agricultural exports of Ukraine in 2022 will be in the conditions of uncertainty and high risks, "- summed up Bohdan Dukhnitsky.
