The first projects of the «Program for rebuilding Ukraine» are determined

They will be financed at the expense of the European Investment Bank within the framework of the Program for Reconstruction of Ukraine. At the first stage 83 projects worth 4.7 billion UAH were selected to be implemented in 10 regions of Ukraine.

In particular:
Kiev region — 30 projects,
Odesa oblast — 11 projects,
Poltava region — 11 projects,
Vinnitsa region — 8 projects,
Dnipropetrovsk region — 8 projects,
Zhytomyr region — 6 projects,
Chernihiv region — 3 projects,
Kirovograd region — 3 projects,
Sumy region — 2 projects,
Cherkassy region — 1 project.

In the first «package of projects» priority was given to the restoration of schools, kindergartens, hospitals, CNAP, heating, water and wastewater facilities.

The EIB finances the projects for the total of 340 million euros (nearly 13.1 billion hryvnias at the NBU official exchange rate) within the framework of the Program for Recovery of Ukraine.
