The rapid spread of African swine fever in Ukraine and around the world has highlighted the need to strengthen measures to control the spread of this highly contagious disease. First and foremost, it is important to implement and comply with biosecurity.

Training videos prepared by the Association of Ukrainian Pig Breeders (AUP) in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) as part of the project “Keeping Animals Healthy in Ukraine” will be useful in successfully establishing biosecurity protocols at pig farms. They demonstrate the best biosecurity practices of leading Ukrainian pig farms: Goodwelly Ukraine LLC, Elita LLC, Niva Pereyaslavshchyny JV LLC, and Ukraine LLC.
