Spanish import of Dutch piglets and hogs decreases

In the last few weeks there has been a significant decrease in the import of both piglets and pigs from the Netherlands.

After starting the year with increased Spanish imports of Dutch piglets, in the last month and a half, these imports have decreased significantly from a peak of 45,000 piglets in week 8 to less than 15,000 in week 32.
