About the details and conditions of the support program for small agricultural producers told the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Markiyan Dmitrasevich on the air of "Public Resistance". He noted that more than 70 agrarians have already applied for the funds. Let us remind you that under the terms of the program, funding is provided to the farmers who cultivate from 1 to 120 hectares of agricultural land. We are talking about the support in the amount of 3100 UAH per hectare, but not more than 372 thousand UAH. As well as 5 300 UAH per cow to farmers who keep 3 to 100 animals, but not more than 530 thousand UAH.
«Applications have already begun to be accepted. The main condition for participation in the program is registration in the State Agrarian Register, which has been operating for about a month. DAR pulls information on identified animals as well as data from the register of rights to land from the State Land Cadastre for us to be able to determine whether a farmer meets the criteria established by the program or not», — explained Deputy Minister.
According to him, the program is designed for about 10,000 agricultural producers and 1,200 farmers keeping cows, with a total coverage of 32,000 animals.
