In the first four months of 2022, the Philippines imported a total of 186,220 tonnes of pork. This represents a 20% increase from the same period a year prior (154,464 tonnes). Spain was the main supplier for the period shipping 65,635 tonnes of pork to the Philippines, approximately half of which was offal. Imports from Spain represent 35% of the total pork imports for the period, followed by imports from Canada and Brazil with 15% and 11%, respectively.
